How the result is calculated
The pinned local GIF89a codec decodes and composites every bounded frame, the browser optionally scales it, and a fixed palette re-encodes the complete animation while retaining frame delays and loop count. Colours, transparency and uncommon disposal effects can differ; metadata is removed, and 100% dimensions can occasionally produce a larger file.
