How the result is calculated
The Web Audio API decodes the complete bounded local file and the separate unmodified @breezystack/lamejs 1.2.7 LGPL-3.0 JavaScript encoder writes mono or stereo MP3 frames. Supported input codecs depend on the browser; tags, artwork and source compression are not retained.
